BEFORE YOUR SESSION

WAIVER COMPLETION

Complete the SLB Photography online waiver. All adults must complete their own waiver. All minors must be on a form that is completed by a legal guardian.

PROP PICTURES

If you plan to bring any props or items from home to use in your session, send a picture of those items to SLB Photography so the photographer can plan ahead how to use them in the most appealing way.

IRON CLOTHING

Clothing wrinkles are really difficult to edit out. In order to avoid a frumpy look, iron all clothing before arrival.

NAILS AND POLISH

Nails are very noticeable in pictures so it is important to arrive with clean, freshly painted nails or no polish at all.

ARRIVE EARLY

Plan to arrive 10-15 minutes early to avoid any time related stress. Plus, those few minutes will allow everyone to acclimate a bit to the surroundings and be more relaxed for the session.

HEADSHOT LOOKS

If you are scheduled for a headshot or portrait session, think a little bit ahead of time what look you would like to portray. Managerial? Professional but approachable? Fun and quirky?

CHILDREN- ACT EXCITED

If you act excited about the session, your children will be excited. Talk it up.

CHILDREN- REST

Make sure any children are well rested on the day on the session.

CHILDREN- SNACK

Make sure to provide a snack or meal to any children about an hour before the session.

BRUSH/FLOSS TEETH

Cameras today are really good and they see everything. Even bits of that last snack you may have had before your session.

BALANCE PAYMENT

While the retainer fee is paid to retain your time slot, the remaining session balance is due prior to the start of your session.
